Eternal Life: The Desire of Every Human Heart
It hasn't been that long ago when two American icons fell to its grip and the nation mourned. Aretha Franklin, Queen of Soul, as she was lovingly called, died after a long battle with cancer. John McCain, American war hero, politician and highly admired public servant likewise succumbed to the inevitable fate of the human experience. And then there was George H.W. Bush, 41st president of the United States, fondly known as 41, also yielded to the pangs of death. Who can forget the senseless carnage at the Mother Emmanuel church in Mississippi, the Pittsburg synagogue, the hateful massacre in
Divine Prophecy or Deadly Delusions?
When asked about the signs preceding His return to planet earth, Jesus responded: “Take heed that no man deceive you” (Matthew 24:5). He went on to reiterate the seriousness of end time deceptions declaring, “Many false prophets shall arise and deceive many (Matthew 24:11). Today, a deadly deception has overtaken a vast swat of God’s people. That deception is wrapped up in, or some may say,is the driving force of the political situation in the Middle East. Primarily, popular Christian ministers and theologians have concluded and fervently proclaim that the moving of the Embassy of the United States from Tel
Trump, Pence, Francis and the Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy.
Contrary to the denial of leading theologians and Bible 'scholars', the United States is indeed figured prominently in Bible Prophecy. In fact, she is rapidly fulfilling her prophetic role right before our eyes. The Biblical book of Revelation, the thirteenth chapter, portrays the United States as a nation founded on the Christlike principles of Civil and Religious Liberty; and indeed, such has been its Constitutional history. However, the Bible also predicts that the nation will one day move from its position of religious and political openness to one of religious intolerance and political repression. A state of tyranny and
The Protestant Reformation: Remembering the Forgotten Leg
It is now 500 years since the singular act of the Augustinian monk, Martin Luther, ignited what has come to be known as the Protestant Reformation. Yet, Luther was not the one who started the protest that has come to be synonymous with him and a movement that has forever changed the course of human history. The ascension of the Roman Church to world dominance ushered in what we know today as the Dark Ages. The Psalmist David declared, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Rekindling The Reformation
Rekindling The Reformation October 31, 1517 was the date. The place was Wittenberg Castle church, Wittenberg, Germany. His name was Martin Luther. Committed to the idea that salvation could be reached through faith and by divine grace only, Luther vigorously objected to the corrupt practice of selling indulgences by the Roman church. Consequently, he defiantly nailed a copy of his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church. The 95 Theses which became the foundation of the Protestant Reformation, was quite provocative, confronting the un-Biblical teachings of the church to which he had dedicated his life,
The Great I Am
There are many things that are written about Jesus Christ in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. The prophets, patriarchs and apostles all have had their say about Him and have left us an indelible record of His life and ministry. But none have more forcibly and with greater conviction spoke of Him than He Himself. God had delivered the Israelites, His chosen people, after four hundred years from Egyptian captivity. He led them to their encampment in the Sinai Peninsula, far out of the reach of their oppressors. Through the hands of His servant Moses, Jehovah had saved
