Reality of the Blessed Hope: The soon coming of Jesus Christ
It has been referred to as the Christian’s greatest hope. From the prophets and patriarchs of old, to the early church, to the Protestant Reformers, the visible, literal, and glorious coming of Jesus Christ has been their most cherished expectation. Ebola: Is it one of the seven last plagues?
The World Health Organization recently reported that the current outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, (first cases notified in March 2014), is the largest and most complex Ebola outbreak since the Ebola virus was first discovered in 1976. There have been more cases and deaths in this outbreak than all others combined. More than 7,000 confirmed and suspected cases of Ebola and more than 4,000 people have lost their lives. Sierra Leone and Liberia are the most affected countries and the outbreak shows no sign of slowing down. It has also spread between countries starting in Guinea then spreading across land borders
