God’s Sabbath Truth
It was in the middle of a 12 year + addiction to crack cocaine that someone introduced me to Jesus Christ.
My story, in the book, God’s Sabbath Truth, is a testimony of God’s amazing grace. It is the evidence that God’s grace not only transforms; but empowers us to keep all of His commandments, including His Sabbath commandment. Mine is the report of one man’s encounter with the One and Only true God, the God of creation and recreation. He is the One who gave us the Sabbath as a sign of devoted communion between Him and us. He is the One gives us the power to obey His Sabbath commandment and turn away from the traditions and opinions of men. The question is, are you willing to obey? He is no respecter of persons. What He has done with me, He will do with and for you.
God’s Sabbath Truth is a simple, systematic study of God’s Sabbath from creation through redemption. It is written not so much from a theological perspective; but rather from the experience of someone who has encountered the God of creation and was transformed by His amazing grace. This volume will illuminate your mind and draw you into a closer relationship with your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The book outlines the Biblical and historic proofs of the attempted to change of God’s Sabbath from the seventh day of the week to the first. It offers Biblical objections against the arguments for Sunday sacredness.
In this fascinating account, the reader is led, step by step, through the history of God’s Sabbath. You will learn its true meaning in your life. As you trace the footsteps of the prophets, Jesus, the apostles, and the early church, you will come to understand the eternal nature of God’s Seventh-day Sabbath. You will not only learn by whom and when the attempted change occured from the seventh day to the first; but you will discover that the change was prophesied by God, through His prophet Daniel, almost one thousand years before it occurred.
Consider what a leading Baptist scholar has to say about this issue of God’s Sabbath, “There was and is a command to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will however be readily said, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week, with all its duties, privileges and sanctions. Earnestly desiring information on this subject, which I have studied for many years, I ask, where can the record of such a transaction be found: Not in the New Testament – absolutely not. There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week” (Dr. E. T. Hiscox, author of the Baptist Manual).
Now, compare this to the claims of the Roman Papacy: “Sunday is our mark of authority…the church is above the Bible, and the transference of Sabbath (to Sunday) is proof of that fact” (Catholic Record, Sept 1, 1923).
God’s Sabbath Truth is offered in loving response to the call for universal Sunday sacredness. The book of Revelation foretells a tectonic conflict between those who choose to honor God by keeping holy His blessed Sabbath-day, the 7th day of the week today called Saturday, and those who choose to embrace Sunday sacredness, a tradition of men. It is a struggle that has eternal consequences. Each must choose whose side the’re on. Why not choose God’s side? God’s Sabbath Truth helps you to make the right choice.
Ultimately, God’s Sabbath Truth is calling men and women to choose the God of creation and reject the opinions of learned men so-called and the pronouncements of ecclesiastical councils. It affirms that the God of creation is the victor in the conflict in which all are involved. We are on the very precipice of that conflict. You, your family, friends, neighbors and enemies must be warned.
